First images of the new Wolfenstein game!

Dunno how I missed it, but there have been some scans of the August GameInformer print issue (http://gameinformer.com/News/Story/200807/N08.0712.1718.28145.htm) floating around. DaK pointed me to some hosted at Crossfire (http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=column mode=item id=364), but I found more over here at Woflmap (http://www.wolfmap.de/comments.php?news_id=1492). We went down to Raven Software and got 10 pages of exclusive info on the new game from them and id Software. Found out what those crazy Nazis are up to this time.

E3? Jawohl!

RtCW/ET fans rejoice: new footage of the next Wolfenstein-based game may be just around the corner. Kotaku gleaned the following from a SpikeTV press release: Seeing as we've known for some time that Raven are currently working on the latest entry in id's Wolfenstein series, it seems a safe bet we'll be seeing something about the game during next week's festivities.

ET:QW competition mod beta released

One day when I'm actually not working on my house or doing school work, I will try this puppy out. It'll likely address a lot of the nagging quirks that come with the pubbing version, be just as popular as ETPro or OSP (blast-from-the-past-ville) were. That said, I'll wait till the community hounds figure it all out release the final version ;-) Release announcement ( download links, if yer feelin' frisky) is here (http://community.enemyterritory.com/index.php?q=node/239). Full details about the mod are here (http://community.enemyterritory.com/?q=node/231). Forum for the mod is here (http://community.enemyterritory.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37).

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty demo goes live!

What looks to be the best Nazi-killing game in a while has finally launched its demo (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/23/turning-point-fall-of-liberty-demo-goes-live/). The disappointing news is that the demo is currently for XBOX Live only. The TurningPoint site link (http://www.codemasters.com/turningpoint/) still isn't working :(

Call of Duty 5 - back to basics

Not InfinityWard? Back to WWII? These are some pretty hefty rumors (http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content task=view id=5020 Itemid=57). Call me nostalgic, but I miss killing Nazis. I just hope that Treyarch, if they are responsible, can pull it off. I wasn't much impressed with CoD3... EGM guys made that conclusion after finding out that the game is being developed by a new software team. Instead of Infinity Ward, this time the software team behind the game will be Treyarch, the team that worked on CoD 3 XboX 360 version, and those guys just love WWII.
